Now if you are a beach lover, beach fanatic or just enjoy spending time at your beach house, then this is the project for you!
These Jars wrapped in fisherman netting from “StowandTellU” are a great way to introduce some creativity to your beach dwelling – and the best part?
They are super easy to make.
These jars give your home an almost “pirate” or underwater feel (especially if you fill them up with sand!). They make great decorations and especially look great on shelves – but don’t make my word for it, just have a look at the photo below!
They also make great decorations for the bathroom. Place them at the end of the bathtub (if you have one) and you will feel like you’re at the beach, swaying softly from side to side (minus all the potential dangerous sea animals).
Now obviously, these aren’t the only places these jars are suited for, so below we have listed some of the other places these jars would suit:
- Kitchen Counter Top
- Bedside table
- Living Room
- Guest Room
Remember how I said they are super easy to make? Well I should have also mentioned how cheap/readily available all the supplies are as well. That’s what’s great about these – you don’t have to waste any time learning new techniques, shopping only for weird supplies or watching a three hour long youtube video. It’s simple to make, just the way we like it.
Here are all the supplies that are listed on the StowAndTellU blog:
- Jars, colored or plain
- Decorative fisherman netting (I found mine at Hobby Lobby)
- E6000 glue
- Hemp twine
The only mildly difficult thing to get on that list is the glue, and that’s not even that hard – you can get it here if you want.
So how do you actually make them? Well follow this tutorial from the StowAndTellU blog where Amy expertly goes through the extremely easy process of making these wonderful jars. This is a great project to highlight your creative side with little chance of failure. Your friends and family are definitely going to be impressed!
