Beach Christmas Decorations & Ideas Inspired by Sea, Sand & Shells

If you are like me, the beach is always on your mind, and it is definitely part of your holiday decor. So I put together a collection of favorite beach Christmas decorations and ideas, inspired by sea, sand, shells, and simplicity.

Make one of a kind beach Christmas ornaments, filling Clear Ball Ornaments with tiny shells, shell fragments and a bit of sand. And for an unexpected twist, add a little Beach Sign. Original source unknown.

You can always count on Pottery Barn for beach inspiration. I adore the mini bottle beach ornament, and the glitter resin starfish makes for a striking tree topper.

Another idea for a DIY beach ornament. Clear glass ornament with vinyl lettering by Heart Song, an Etsy store.

Create a beachy Christmas display with Blue Mason Jars. Fill them with just enough beach sand that you can stick a Candle inside. Via Hymns and Verses.

Celebrate Christmas with all the beach and summer colors you can think of. I love how all the ornaments are arranged by color. This stunning Christmas tree was Kohl’s tree in 2013 from their St. Nicholas Square Collection. Unfortunately these fun ornaments are not on their site this year. But you can shop for Seahorse Ornaments and other Colorful Beach Theme Ornaments on Amazon.

Santa loves the beach too. This cute Gone to the Beach Santa Ornament is one of many beach Christmas decorations from Mary B Decorative Art.

Go bright with white. White Christmas Trees look gorgeous in a Shabby Chic and White Beach Cottage environment. But no matter what color your Christmas tree is, why not have some fun with whimsical Beach Ornaments from Midwest CBK (a design company that creates products for the Holidays). The mini beach signs are too cute. Also check out Kohl’s Welcome to the Beach Ornament that comes as a set and includes a dolphin and sea turtle ornament.

Hang Anthropologie’s Driftwood Shelf Tree and display beach finds and ornaments. A clever idea that I think works year round.

Get a darling mini Christmas tree for the kitchen counter top, a side table, or for a table centerpiece. Adorn it with your own beach finds and Christmas ornaments, just like these Marvellous Mini Trees. Mini live trees with lights or starfish are sold at LLBean.
