A remodeled cottage on Whitemarsh Island in Georgia, a stone’s throw away from Savannah and Tybee Island. Filled with light and bright colors (pops of red, yellow, and more), it’s a mix of rustic cozy, original wood work, and modern cottage living. Jane Coslick’s cottage aesthetics is obvious in this Southern gem!
The red starfish shutters are just fabulous, and the screened porch is so inviting. I also love how the kitchen was remodeled. Jane Coslick clad the breakfast bar with reclaimed wood that had been discarded from the original interior walls. And, as Jane does for many other cottages, she used the work by local artist Bellamy Murphy to make a splash. Bellamy’s beautiful oyster painting looks great above the white sofa.
