By stripping away the old and going all in with bright colors, beach lovers showed HGTV Magazine how they remodeled their Tybee Island cottage and turned it into a happy beach retreat.
It’s amazing to see how little it took to completely revamp the outside of the cottage and transform it into a bright happy home. The inside of the cottage needed a little more help. The owner, Vicky Patton, decorated the home with the help of local designer Jane Coslick. You probably recognized her colorful signature style! The 1950’s Westinghouse electric range was original to the house. It was transformed with a coat of blue spray paint. The beach cottage remodel was featured in HGTV magazine’s July-August edition 2014. You can see even more pictures on their website here. Coral cottage is available for rent via Tybee Cottages.
