The charming beach community of Seabrook Washington sits on a bluff with breath taking views of the Pacific ocean. And over a hundred of the shingled beach cottages are available as vacation rentals!

Seabrook Washington is the kind of beach getaway where you’d want to go for long walks on the beach, rather than lying in the sand. I can feel the invigorating salty breezes just by looking at the pictures! Tucked into the coast below Olympic National Park, west of Seattle, Seabrook was founded in 2004 as a community of shingled cottages, where everything is within walking distance. You can walk to the grocery store, restaurant, even a community Fire Pit! And of course the beach. That’s what I love about these beach communities that have been developed (famous one being Seaside, FL), you can leave the car behind. Currently there are about 250 privately owned homes at Seabrook, half of which are available as vacation rentals through Seabrook Cottage Rentals. I’d be tempted to pick the beach cottage with the cutest name! Fun fact (which I read on Apartment Therapy): the pathways in the town are all created using recycled, crushed oyster shells, which reflects light, making for the perfect moonlit walk or a brighter, more cheerful day during the winters.
