A beach cottage can’t get more Rustic and shabby than this! The turquoise painted wood paneled walls are just one of the features that I find inspirational in the space. The beach cottage, or rather beach shack, has the feel of an eclectic antique store. Life preserver rings, old lanterns and other nautical artifacts, used rope, oars, even a boat, all tie the cottage to its roots, being once part of a small fishing community. I imagine it to be quite a unique experience to cozy up in the living room with the fire in the wood stove crackling, enjoying all the eclectic decorations while looking out to sea and over marshland.
